Martha has been having fun with fabric for a long time and she has developed a wonderful sense of color, texture and pattern. Her quilted artwork engages the eye with visual relationships that seem to extend into forever. Her hand-marbled fabrics are a treat in themselves and dazzling when working in concert across 196 blocks of a queen-size bed-quilt.

She has earned national recognition and awards for her craftsmanship and designs. Currently a member of the Glendale Quilt Guild.

Most recent work explores original variations on compass and log cabin patterns. She is also creating boxed sets of note cards inspired by various sewn blocks and color themes.
