Monty Teeth is an original painting commissioned for the release of Monty Python's Flying Circus video collection, Volume 5, by Paramount Studios, and perhaps the most familiar image associated with the comedy troupe's television show. This piece was recreated as static image for print as inspired by Terry Gilliam's animation for television. It could never be seen on television in this form because all the elements were in motion in the rather square aspect ratio of the old PAL/NTSC broadcast standard.
